The reThink Cybersecurity Israel is an experiential learning trip organised by CIO Academy Asia for CISOs, CIOs and Heads of info-Security in public and private sectors. The objective of the trip is for delegates to network with others on the trip, and connect with leading experts from government, corporations, incubators and universities in Israel. A total of 30 delegates from both private and public agencies from Singapore and the Philippines attended this first-of-its kind study trip.
30 March 2017 To understand the nuances and the imperatives of IT value management, CIO Academy Asia (CIOAA) conducted a half-day workshop on 30 March in Singapore. Data management and cloud solutions provider, NetApp, was the main partner for the workshop. Over 30 IT leaders participated in this workshop where they discussed and learnt about how they can highlight the value of IT to their stakeholders and deliver IT value to the business.

As the financial sector find new ways today to better serve the customers, one cannot ignore the fact that technology will continue to be the main driver. Quite often, the use of technology to solve a customer’s problem which may not been diagnosed properly, solutions are jumped into quickly without fully understanding the right problem. The ‘doing more with less’ mantra should be used as a guide as we leverage technology to solve customer’s day-to-day ‘right’ problems with simple easy-to-use engagement techniques with the financial institutions.
